Introduction Oil over Watercolour - Part 1
This video is an introduction to Oil over watercolour, a technique that is not widely recognized, however, was well known in the 19th Century. This is Part 1 of a two-part tutorial and in this lesson, I discuss some of the benefits of oil over watercolour rather than using acrylic. The video is backed up with a little research and below I will include the articles and video to help you understand the concept even more. In part 2, I will demonstrate how to prepare your canvases to accept oil over watercolour. Watch Part 2 Here: https://youtu.be/fRkS6QSIVuU (canvas preparation)
