"Puppy Love" – Portrait of Fleur and Bruno

I had the privilege of painting this beautiful duo—my grandpuppy Bruno and his lovely mum, Fleur. As always, the process began with a raw umber underpainting to establish values and structure, followed by multiple layers of colour to gradually build depth and detail.

The reference photo was taken by my son, and the moment I saw it, I knew I had to paint it. It captures such a tender and timeless expression of pure puppy love.
