Portrait of Beauty – Simmental Cow
I was commissioned to paint Beauty, a stunning Simmental cow, on a large 20x24-inch canvas. The client, Natasha, provided several reference photos, but we chose one main image that beautifully captured both Beauty’s character and the rural setting she called home, minus the overhead cables and worn fence posts, of course!

It was a joy working on such a grand scale, bringing this gentle giant to life with all her charm and presence. Natasha kindly shared photos of the finished portrait, beautifully framed and proudly displayed — a fitting tribute to her beautiful girl.
