This 16x12 inch oil portrait captures a quiet moment shared with my son one winter afternoon during a walk together. The low golden sun cast beautiful, dramatic shadows across his face and jacket, giving everything a warm, glowing quality. I contrasted this with cool blue undertones in the shadows to enhance the atmosphere and depth of the piece.
