I built the painting using traditional oil techniques, layering the tones slowly to create depth and subtle shifts in colour, especially through the foliage, where the cool greens play beautifully against the warm highlights on the bunny. The darker background adds a touch of drama, allowing the details and the rich greens to come forward with clarity.
