Black Beauty – Rottweiler Portrait
This striking 18x24 inch painting was a personal project I created for myself and the studio, inspired by the sheer power and beauty of this stunning Rottweiler. I titled it Black Beauty — a fitting name for this noble subject, set against a moody black backdrop with subtle hints of a forest scene behind.

What captivated me most was the rim lighting along the dog’s strong features, and I wanted to do it justice on a larger scale. Working at this size presents a challenge, but it’s also incredibly rewarding — every brushstroke feels bold and purposeful. This piece now hangs proudly in the studio
