Harper Lily – A Cherished Keepsake
Harper Lily was only a few weeks old when I painted her, freshly back from a professional photo shoot where she was dressed in the most adorable outfits. This portrait captures her in a stunning ruby red dress with a golden bow and a matching headband—she looked like a little angel.

Painted while she was curled up, sleeping peacefully with her tiny hands tucked beneath her head like a cherub, I wanted the background to feel just as soft and dreamy. With the photographer’s permission to use the original image as reference, I reimagined the setting to enhance the gentle, magical feel of the moment.

This piece was painted on a canvas sheet and later mounted to a board, ready for framing as a special gift for her mum. Harper Lily is my daughter’s godchild, and I wanted to create a keepsake that would mean the world to them both.
