Kate & Elliot – A Wedding Moment in Oil
I was commissioned to paint this stunning 16x20-inch wedding portrait of Kate and Elliot, working from a beautiful photo captured by their photographer (with kind permission). To add a touch of magic, I created a digital mock-up with a reimagined background, subtle changes that brought out the romance and timelessness of the moment. Once Kate approved the composition, I began the painting process, which unfolded over eight weeks.

The final layers of the gown feature rich, textured impasto brushstrokes that bring a real sense of depth and movement to the piece. It now hangs proudly in the couple’s home—a lasting reminder of their special day, captured in paint with care and heart.
