Commissions Terms & Conditions

The Client: Any individual who commissions artwork via this website or directly from the Artist
Commissioned Artwork: Any custom artwork created by the Artist for the Client
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing a commission. By making any payment toward a commission, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
No physical or digital signature is required. By commissioning artwork and/or making payment, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payment Terms
A 25% deposit is required to secure a place in the Artist’s schedule. The remaining balance is due in full once the final artwork has been completed and approved.
No artwork will be shipped until full payment has been received.
3. Accepted Payment Methods
Payment may be made via:

PayPal (including credit and debit cards)

BACS direct bank transfer
Payment details will be provided on the invoice.
4. Refunds
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

If the Artist needs to cancel the commission for any reason

If the Client does not approve the final artwork, in which case a full refund will be issued, less any non-refundable payment processing fees. The Artist will retain full rights to the artwork, including the right to sell or reproduce it

If the artwork is damaged during shipping (see Postal Damage section)
5. Returns
Due to the bespoke nature of commissioned artwork, returns and exchanges are not accepted once the artwork has been approved and shipped.
6. Commission Refusal
The Artist reserves the right to refuse any commission. Any payments made will be refunded in full.
7. Termination of a Commission
The Artist may terminate a commission if necessary. In such cases, all payments made will be refunded in full, regardless of the stage of completion.
8. Adjustments

Minor adjustments (small refinements based on the agreed reference images) are included

Major adjustments (requests that deviate from the original brief or references) may incur additional fees and are carried out at the Artist’s discretion
All major changes must be agreed in writing before further work continues.
9. Pricing
Commission prices may change at any time.
Once a commission has been booked and a deposit paid, the agreed price will not change for that commission.
10. Estimated Completion Time
Any completion timeframe provided is an estimate, not a guarantee. Delays may occur, and the Artist will communicate any significant changes where possible.
11. Shipping
UK Shipping:
Smaller to mid-sized artworks are typically sent via Royal Mail. Larger works may be shipped using UPS or another suitable courier.
International Shipping:
Available on request. The Client is responsible for all shipping costs, duties, taxes, and handling fees. All shipping fees must be paid before dispatch.
The Artist is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.
12. Postal Damage or Loss
All artworks are securely packaged and shipped fully insured.
If damage occurs in transit, the Client must:

Contact the Artist within 48 hours of delivery

Provide clear photographs of the packaging and damage
If an insurance claim is approved, a full refund will be issued.
13. Use of Artwork & Copyright
Copyright remains with the Artist at all times.
The Artist may use images of the commissioned artwork for portfolio, website, or promotional purposes.
The Client may display the artwork privately and share images online with credit to the Artist. The artwork may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.
14. Digital Images & Colour Accuracy
Digital images may vary due to screen settings and lighting conditions. Every effort is made to photograph artwork accurately.
15. Amendments
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. The most recent version will always be available on the website.
