Shipping Policy - the basics
This Shipping Policy explains how original artworks are packaged, dispatched, and delivered. All artworks are carefully prepared to ensure they arrive safely and in good condition. Shipping timeframes and methods vary depending on the size of the artwork and the delivery destination.
Processing time
Original artworks are dispatched only once payment has been received in full.
Commissioned artworks are dispatched after final approval, curing, and varnishing, which may take several weeks depending on the piece.
UK shipping
Smaller to mid-sized artworks are typically shipped via Royal Mail.
Larger artworks may be shipped using UPS or another suitable courier.
Shipping costs are calculated based on size and will be confirmed at the time of purchase or invoicing.
All artworks are securely packaged and shipped insured. Every effort is made to protect artworks during transit.
International shipping
International shipping is available on request.
Shipping costs are quoted individually based on size and destination.
Buyers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees applied by their local authorities. These charges are outside my control.
Packaging and insurance
All artworks are securely packaged and shipped insured. Every effort is made to protect artworks during transit.
Delivery issues
Marion Dutton Fine Art is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services. In the event of damage during transit, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the packaging and artwork so the issue can be addressed.
