I finished this yesterday. This was my first try at water colours (oil on top). I found the water colour challenging. I also found the feathers challenging. Overall I am happy with it. After sitting on it for a day though I a thinking that the dark shading right behind the neck might need to be softened? Marion, I am wondering how best to do this? Should I add some extra white? Or maybe white with the blue mix?
