There’s something quietly beautiful about the ordinary, a few tomatoes, a bulb of garlic, the way light falls across a simple tabletop. Ripened Reflections celebrates that stillness. It’s a reminder that even the most familiar parts of daily life can become something extraordinary when you pause long enough to really see them.
 
I painted this piece slowly and deliberately, using a classical underpainting and layers of transparent glazes to capture that soft, ripened glow. Every brushstroke was about finding beauty in simplicity, the kind that doesn’t shout, but lingers.
